First Time Visit: Initial Evaluation (Swedish Massage)

Welcoming all first time clients to book this recommended consultation and massage combo. During this session, we will discuss your medical history, goals, and expectations of the services you will be. Your range of motion will be assessed through passive stretching as well as receiving a relaxing massage through manual techniques. By the end of the session we will discuss your wellness plan to best help you improve your muscle condition, circulation, and stress levels.

Swedish/Relaxation Massage

This is a classic massage designed to relax the entire body by using long, gliding strokes to release tension within the muscles. This massage uses gentle to medium firm pressure which aides in increasing blood circulation and the reduction of stress and pain.

Deep Tissue Massage

This deep layered massage focuses on breaking up muscle adhesions to restore muscular balance. The pressure is firm and slow so that the deeper layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia are addressed. Deep tissue massages reduce minor aches and pains, increase range of motion, and decrease inflammation within the body.

Clinical Treatment

This massage is specific to addressing a chronic condition or injury, where we will solely focus on that area of discomfort. Trigger point work and passive stretching will be provided to release tension and pain within the area of discomfort.
(Example Chronic Conditions: Cervical/Lumbar Radiculopathy, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, Slipped Disc, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Tendinitis, etc.)

Sports Massage

This massage is tailored to help athletes and/or physically active individuals enhance their range of motion, recover from activity, decrease muscle soreness, and prevent injuries to support safe, effective movement. This massage is focused, targeting muscles used in a specific sport/ activity. PNF stretching, range of motion testing, trigger point work, and reciprocal inhibition are all services that can be provided in a sports massage alongside myofascial release techniques.

Sports Massage Event Table Massage

Book Qi Wellness and Massage for your next sports event! Services can be provided at a variety of sports events like practices and/or competitions (pre, mid, and post event). Complimentary table facilitated stretches provided for athletes up to 15 mins per guest with all equipment provided. (Must be booked for a MINIMUM of two hours)

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy works by the placement of cups placed on a specific area of the skin, creating a vacuum effect. The suction facilitates blood circulation and fascial release, which helps release tension within the muscles, improves blood flow, and promotes healthy healing within the affected areas.

IASTM: Instrument- assisted soft tissue mobilization

IASTM is an extension of manual therapy used as a form of soft tissue treatment. The use of specialized tools are used to manipulate the skin, muscles, and tendons to breakdown fascial restrictions and scar tissue. This therapy helps relieve pain, increase range of motion, promotes tissue healing, and remodels scar tissue.

Event Chair Massage

Book Qi Wellness and Massage for your next event! Services can be provided at birthday parties, launch parties, picnics, corporate events, etc. Complimentary Chair Massages for all your guests up to 10 mins per guest with all equipment provided. (Must be booked for a MINIMUM of two hours)

Mobile Massage

This service is provided to clients who prefer to stay in the comfort of their own home or work place. All equipment is provided. A $20 travel fee will be added to the specific massage of your choice.
